Hi, Again at the airport, we knew what we had to do and were left to it and if they wanted something else done or we had a problem that required another set of eyes on it or it needed escalating our supervisor was only a radio call away. Other wise we generally didn't see them, a new one joins the team and he comes round at least once a day and asks if we're OK. The second day I answered "Yes" questioningly and he said "It's alright I'm just touching base" I then said "I'm not sure I want my base touched". It then became a running joke between us and he turned out to be one of the best supervisors, but he was used to dealing with middle management and it sort of rubbed off on him.
