Bad foundations at the edges ? Weight of the walls doing it by any chance

Haven't you got any expansion joints?
Well, I thought that, but I've seen far bigger slabs with no expansion joints or it purely depends on thickness? It's 6in minimum
Too late,
Don't worry about it.
Cement slurry is the way forward.
Nice space.
the slab is too big and has settled it should have settlement slots every certain distance apart
also depends on how thick your concrete pour is
As a builder with 35 years experience I would have to disagree.....Kilsaran said for that size and the concrete they supplied it was completely unnecessary
I will be doing a large concrete floor at my place. About 1200 sqf. This is 12 inches thick with mesh and multiple tie bars. As it's all hand work it will be run through the mixer as a concrete pump is out of the question. So multiple bays unfortunately. I will probably start a thread but concrete and its construction has been spoke of on here before.
Will do parm. Please do, will be interesting to see what you are doing. I have no knowledge or experience of laying such a floor

You have your work cut out there, get multiple mixers and willing helpers to load themI will be doing a large concrete floor at my place. About 1200 sqf. It's fine. I am use to it. I am better working on my own .You have your work cut out there, get multiple mixers and willing helpers to load them
The benefit of my advice........get someone else to do it. Far easier, just costs more, even using a 1 m3 mixer on the telehandler still hard work, doing big floors. Please do, will be interesting to see what you are doing. I have no knowledge or experience of laying such a floor
