Nope, that's the complete opposite of good marketing.Ah but what about the power of 'marketing'?
Surely you could tempt the dim witted to buy a poorly made product at the end of the day??
No. I'll not derail the thread any more, but if anyone is actually interested in how to market their products or services I'd be more than happy to answer questions (or give general guidance) in a new thread. I joined this forum to get very specific advice about a very specific subject, but am more than happy to give something back, based on my own area of expertise. It may not be good, but is it effective marketing?
I'd appreciate that. Just in a general guidance form right now as I'm just starting out, and I'm not sure where to start from a marketing point of view.No. I'll not derail the thread any more, but if anyone is actually interested in how to market their products or services I'd be more than happy to answer questions (or give general guidance) in a new thread. If anyone is telling you anything about marketing strategy and you don't understand it, rest assured they don't understand it either. Marketing isn't rocket science; 90% of it is common sense. There are certain psychological principles that I use that could be described as complicated, but the basics are just that.... basic.I'm intrigued by the whole concept so would like to see a dedicated thread with some examples of what products/businesses have been turned around and how exactly.
Give us something that the 'common man' can understand/identify with then maybe the notion of it just being over paid BS will be proved wrong.
Will do.Open a new thread titled " Marketing " Climber
Cheers …. I've edited my last post asking for it to be in the Private forumWill do.

Rebrand it as " rustic welding ".Nobody would pay for anything I've welded.
Which is a misnomer, since it's not in the least bit common.
