The title says it all, really. No.1 pot on my C180K started playing up just before I went on holiday. Having prepped myself for possible eventualities i.e.: spare coil pack, correct plug spanner, and a set of plugs, I set about the repair today.
They're under there somewhere. Fortunately the cover just pulls off.
Unscre the No.1 and No.2 packs but was a little surprised to find this when the No.1 came out
Yup, water...
Soakd it off with kitchen towel and removed the plug, which looked fine. Reinstalled the old parts and now it's running sweetly again.
Question - Where did the water come from? There is a suspicious apparent jointing face near the top of the hole, though.
Answers on a postcard please.
All relevant tooling and spares now installed in the boot for any future episode.
