Returned to my outdoor welfing table, part of which was clean bare metal the rest had some degrees of standing water. I'm not sure but it looks like either the tarp failed letting water sit for a couple of weeks or the tarp failed and became stuck to parts of the table. I suspect the lstter as a residue appears to have been left.
I used to use lengths of timber to provide an air gap between the table surface and the tarpaulin material, but the uneven surface started to collect water on the surface of the tarp.
What would you recommend I do; replace the tarp, build a lift off roof structure, replace the tarp and cover the tarp with sheet timber to protect from the sun...?
Looking at part of the table which remains as I left, protecting from rain and using sillica fel seems to offered good protection where the tarpaulin didn't fail.
Table can't be relocated insude due to size and weight, 8.5 feet by 4' feet approx in size.
Tganks for the help.
