Hi not new too welding, 35 years now.
I bought a Miller 160 Sth 160 tig inverter, nice light weight easy too use and produced nice welds. Sold it as it was gathering dust, was used mainly on stainless steel model boat exhausts, racing those is my main hobby.
Now I'm kicking myself for selling it as people are asking me to modify exhausts etc and it's a pain in the ass to do in work so I'm looking at buying another machine preferably ac/dc .
I'm looking at the r tec 170 ac/dc or jasic pro 200 mini ac/dc and can't decide between the two. Now I have used the jasic and must say it's a nice piece of kit , easy too use light weight 200 amps and quite compact but never used the r tec which from the specs is over twice the weight of the jasic but seems very feature packed plus 5 year warranty as opposed too 3 years on the r tec .
I'm very undecided so any input would be very appreciated
