This dog clutch is a right sod to get off
That's what I was looking at. It don't look right..it looks like it as spun roundIsn't that key meant to be in the groove?
Would explain why it won't shiftThat's what I was looking at. It don't look right..it looks like it as spun round
Yes I got one. Problem is there isn't a lot of lip underneath to hold it while I push the centre outWould explain why it won't shift
Haven't you got a big flypress. Wouldn't even notice a little part like that.
Its possible. Will have another look tomorrow.Yes key is jamming it. I often make presses from bits of angle, box and my enerpac.
If the gear bore is so worn that it can slip round on a keyed shaft then maybe you'll have to turn a new shaft or bore and sleeve the gear?
I have a day in the workshop tomorrow so will have a fresh mind and have a go at getting it offI've edited my post with a way I think you could get it apart. Pulling the shaft out the gear instead of the gear off the shaft.

Might as well just grind (or machine) the inside of the pulley shaft adjacent to the key to relieve pressure and remove male dog and gear without dammageNew shaft it is then.
The shaft can still be repaired despite the damage it has received
