Afternoon all.
Just a question regarding rpm on a single phase or three phase motor.. a typical grinder motor spins about 2850 rpm..is there a method or a way to reduce the rpm to 400 rpm without going through complicated vdf . I am looking at a RJH ferret grinder. These spin at 2850 but I would like to reduce it to 400 rpm for sharpening my scraping tools...I want to keep it looking original without having to change motors if possible. I have other ways to sharpen my tooling. My electrical knowledge is very limited hence the question.
