Am currently sitting under the sun shade with a cup tea....watching the sun work it's way down the garden..I shall not be doing a lot today
My neighbour called round yesterday afternoon with a couple of beers. We sat in the shade and set the world to rights.
Thunderstorm this morning and less humid now, but showing signs of clearing and could be hot again.
42°C over here yesterday. Spent the morning installing some SS railings, then the PM working (slowly..)in the w/shop. Luckily the house is old and stone, so coolish inside.
Just looked and it is 22° at 7 am.....
Definitely. Plenty of fluids needed with these conditionsHeats OK it's the humidity that gets you
Have discovered that a great way of cooling down is to stand naked in front of an open fridge. The only down side is a Police caution and I’m now banned from every Aldi in the country .
On site in York today, my temperature gauge is reading 31 just now, and I’m glad that our lot spec fridge/freezers in the trucks.

To rightNot a lover of heat, and i don't understand people paying lots of money to go abroad and loll about in stifling temperatures. Spring and autumn are much nicer seasons imho.
