Do you want a go pro clone to test the waters mate. Cover the postage. At the moment it is just an idea. It may never happen!
What is a good camera to start off with. It will all be filmed outside in all weathers. Distances from a few metres to max three hundred.
Suffer the same.I've done a few, I usually just crack on and forget to record though
Maybe if I wasnt so busy
Suffer the same.
Keep thinking I’ll take loads of pictures and do a write up on how I made a panel, a video of some of the process, etc, etc.
Then I remember 3 days after the job is finished

Customer gave me one as a tip earlier this year and it's sitting unused in the office.
Is that what folk use? Thought they would of used more “professional” type gear for outdoors - distance stuff. Son has a GoPro thing I can try. Thanks for the offer though
Pop me a pm with your details and il get the wife to pop it in the post.In which case, @eLuSiVeMiTe, I’d be happy to relieve you of it for postage and a beer token or two, if that’s okay.

I actually quite like the editing, something to do in the evening when I can't make any more noise outside, the problem is I never do anything interesting enough to watch. The key issue with making your own videos is largely the editing. It will take longer to edit a video than the real time task you just filmed. Plus of course, faffing about with the camera interrupts the task quite dramatically.

I can't help feeling if you're just doing it for the money and the free stuff you're never really gonna get anywhere.
