I have been given what is left of a disposable gas bottle with small regulator already fitted to it. The regular doesn't have a hose, but seems to have a little metal push fit connector.
My welding machine is terminated at the back of the case with a 1/4" brass connection; to this I have added an adapter which converts the 1/4" thread to a 4mm push fit connection. This adapter is suitable up to 10bar apparently; is this sufficient?
As I understand it, all I need know is a 4mm OD hose to push into the adapter on the back of my welding machine and into the small regulator, is this correct?
What hose should I get; I've had a look on Ebay and a lot of them come as adapter cables rather than just the hose, any suggestions? This should just be a temporary measure to use what gas there is left in the bottle, then I'll get a rent free or similar cylinder.
Thanks.
