I'm walking.cheers everyone. So bad that even the dealer can't squeak it through an MOT?
Walk away, and you'll still be travelling faster than one of these at full speed.

The prices are getting high for a T25 now in good condition, While not the most popular they are the last of the rear engined VWs.T25's have never been the desirable vw. Bays and splitscreens then t4/t5/t6. T25 kind of got left behind, not got the looks of an earlier van nor the usability of a later van.
Indeed.Hi, Scene tax at work there.

I have had one of those years ago, It was a rusty thing but worked so wellIndeed.
Much rather have one of these as a camper conversion.
First van I ever drove. Aged 10.View attachment 182634
Soft spot for them. The lt, what an awful van
Soft spot for them.
Vans these days feel like cars.
Yup. Mines no slouch even well laden.I remember coming through a corner and the low roof version of yours sitting on my back wheel... at 100mph
Vans are like that for the occasional user to jump in and go
Yes i remember those days, but a syncro would be well sort after now and i have seen them go for around £15,000 to £20,000.About 10 years ago I worked for a vw importer and we had a solid t25 syncro german firebus. It was under £5k and we couldn't sell it.Very little mileage on it but it wasn't a bay so didn't sell.
One of the reasons i have kept the VW LT35 mini bus from getting knocked about is that i was thinking of turning it into a camper of some kind with a toilet and shower, The small ones are ok but you get to an age where a toilet becomes essential on a journey as well as a hot drink and lunch.I think I would buy a nice clean rust free van and move all the camper gear across from the equivalent rot box of a camper. I reckon you would end up with a nice leak free fully functioning camper for quite cheap. Cheap compared to the 45K my mate has just paid for a camper built on a new chassis cab, not a month old and thats got to go back to have a 21 point faults list rectified
