Hello,
Thought I'd introduce myself, I've been a longtime lurker but recently joined.
I've been mig welding for a couple of years now and have developed an eye issue that I'm hoping someone can shed some light on.
At the beginning of April I developed an issue where the skin around my eyes would swell up and go very dry after a day's welding.
There's no arc eye, no pain or any loss of vision, apart from blurriness due to the swelling.
I had an eye test and the optician said there was no damage at all to my eyeballs.
Perfect vision apparently.
I'm at a loss with this, doctors and dermatologists have failed to stop it so I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue and what was done to stop it.
Here's a few photos, it usually clears up within 24-48 hours.
Thanks for any help.
