As some may already know, I'm not a football fan - having been to two 'live' matches in my life.
But recently I watched the Women's World Cup matches involving Scotland [we wuz robbed by iffy penalties both times.....] and was so pleased to see the game being played as it should be. No diving, professional fouls, excessive goal celebrations, mobbing of the referee - what a treat compared to the men's' pro game.
OK, it's the national teams which are playing and not individual Clubs, but still. The men, as in many sports/games, could learn a great deal from the women.
[And you all thought this thread was going to be about a new beer I'd tried......]
