Its worse than that, the wife tells me she is keeping my Defender if she feels the Lexus is too big to park, she has been using my Defender for the last few months while I have been off work getting chemo. She loves my Defender and says it is the easiest car she has ever had to park and reverse - I just hope she is not using the tree sliders as parking aids.....
I have to admit even with no power steering and its huge 7.50 lwb tyers my 88 series 3 is by far the easiest car i have ever had in terms of manouvering in tight spaces and parking. I think its because you can see all four corners of the car from the drivers seat plus it's got great visibility. It even beat my 1998 nissan Micra even though that was relatively easy. Nice landy
