Hey, Hugh,
I'm still stuck in Bristol at the moment, so might be another couple of hours before I get home.
Just realised I don't have your number so couldn't ring you.
Sorry about the general chaos, just now - the place looking like someone had just put a grenade through the letterbox, and also having to rush off so quickly!
Good to meet you, though - and, like I said, should you end up anywhere nearby and at a loose end, feel free to drop round!
And @zzr1200 - I'll see you on the 8th @ 1330 in the place you described last night.
Any problems, or to clarify (or correct) any of this - just give me a ring!
A huge thanks to Country Joe for transporting my sons purchase from HughF and meeting me in the A1/A14 Services after coming up from Frome, while I came down from Chesterfield on my way to Essex. My son and I owe Joe a huge favour sometime in the future if he needs help at any time, Joe you have my number.
Ahoy there, zzr,
I hope the dog made it around all the right-turns you had to make on the day, without getting suddenly Fronius-shaped at any point!
I didn't realise you were coming from Chesterfield - I could have looped through there quite easily, as I was intending to go past Derby, anyway.
I think I thought I was coming up on the 8th, as I was going by the last post I'd put on here on the 31st of May - luckily, with me being this dis-organised, it made no real difference.
As Hugh said, the welder is slowly making it's way closer to it's destination - and it's always good to put a face to a member.
Now, if anyone has anything they want moving down south from around Derby way, today....
