T timgunn1962 Member Messages 296 Location Lancashire UK May 30, 2019 #3 As said above, it depends on pressure: Density of Argon at STP is 1.784 grams/litre (according to wikipedia). 11000 grams / 1.784 grams/litre = 6166 litres: 6.166 cu metres 6166 litres /200 = 30.83 litres : a 30 litre cylinder at 200 bar as near as dammit 6166 litres / 300 = 20.55 litres : a 20 litre cylinder at 300 bar as near as dammit
