My Son is like that and he's now 33. I can prepare his go kart in a suit and tie and remain clean. He does one thing and is covered in muck within seconds.nothing to do with the thread but my mum used to call me MUCKMAGNET and im still the same. I seem to end up covered in muck when no one else does. I walk in my workshop for something....find it....come out...and Im mucky....where does it come from

You might want to rephrase that, or maybe not.Wife has a stash of clothes I'm not allowed to wear.

One littl word makes all the differenceI'm the same. Wife has a stash of my clothes I'm not allowed to wear. Only way she can guarantee decent clothes for days out,
Taking at a English heritage (dam auto correct ) workshop today and I asked the question and showed the picture of the OP hammer.
The common reply was London pattern or Old French style hammer.
But it was remarked that back when they were common place the English French relationship was not good. I think Wellington was mentioned.
So some times names were changed. Bit like German Shepard dog to Alsatian.
But, I had good time watching the guys rebuild stuff. Should of been working, but more fun to watch.
Its HAVE not OF........
