Got a bit bored earlier, sat there having a smoke in the garage looking around for inspiration and it struck me.
I have the right angle gearbox off an old 9" angle grinder so thought if I attach a motor to it and can control the speed, combined with the approx 4 to 1 reduction in the g/box it might make a nice little revolving table for either welding tube or even spraying up some parts.
So I did this.
I wish I hadn't bothered, It's stuck.
Put the chuck on the shaft ok, it was slightly tight but went on easy enough and there was movement when I tightened the chuck but can I hell as like get it off.
I might try prying it off when I can be bothered to go back and look at it, or I could fasten another chuck to the old disc spindle and try selling it as some kind off multi position drill..
Poo happens.
