anyone know where these locos are built and by who https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_...otive_classes#/media/File:66108_at_Didcot.JPG
Yeah, same here - they take the coils of steel from Tata shotton down to port talbot to be heat treated, usually have a few throughout the day.cheers for that they come past my house pulling loads of freight every day and night
DRS run what I think is a 37 past our house quite often, sounds like someone’s emptied a bag of nut and bolts into a cylinder
I’m not a train fan but I can appreciate a good 37, and I’d love a deltic just to fire up and annoy the neighboursProbably why it's known as a "Growler" or "Tractor"
it wouldn't bother me as I live next to the railway crossing .you get used to it and don't noticeI’m not a train fan but I can appreciate a good 37, and I’d love a deltic just to fire up and annoy the neighbours
Are they not started with compressed air ?
