looks a nice unit for the price and i like the easy readable screen too...does it have audio on the continuity testing? if it does i might be in the market for the same unitThanks for all the suggestions and info.
I actually went for a Morpilot 17B in the end based on it's good reviews.
Plenty of features on it, nice big screen and feels well-built.
Fantastic Wozzaaah,thanks...now can you put the CD next to a mug so i can see the scaleYes it does!
I can’t be bothered to go and get a mug but here’s a CD for scale.

I forgot who actually manufactures the snap on meter now but from memory they ain’t that expensive under the original clothing. Not sensitive, it just wasn’t a relevant suggestion. I said my budget was £60 or so and I actually paid £24 for it.
God knows how much you paid for yours but Snap On would most definitely have not been on my list.
It does feel very sturdy!
The main body is more like a very hard rubber than a plastic.
It’s certainly much better than the cheapo one it replaces. I tested a few caps earlier and the values on brand new ones were absolutely spot on.
I had to keep both mine up to date with calibration. Costs a fortunetest certs are a ripoff i have a seaward checkbox 16 that tests voltage . insulation. rcd earth loop impedance the lot for my meters and still have to fork out even that has the test and calibration done from new
