The 71s does seem to have the same flange dia, shaft size, pcd etc, wonder if I can get one in 1.1Kw 1400rpm.The 71 frame motor I got is a 14mm shaft
Shaft Dia is only 14mm where a normal 90s motor has a 24mm dia shaft.Why can you not bolt an adaptor plate to the machine that has tapped holes to accept a larger flange motor ?

Yes and yes, not really wanting to F about with things, have enough to do but looks like I am going to have to get involved in some machining of some description.Or do a John Stevenson and turn the motor shaft down to 14 mm
Is B3 not foot mount?I think what you want is a b3 flange mount as you've discovered the b5 is too big?
