This is something I hope exists, but may not..
I had to leave my car in Norway all winter, and the front discs are so badly rusty it needs new ones. Flipping pricy out here as well.
They were totally fine and thick discs before the winter, never seen it before.
I never used it on salted roads either, just parked up by a fjord for the cold months, with a blanket of thick snow. (Everything else was good to go, it's an old basic Audi 100).
I may have to do this again, and is there something greasy I can put on the discs which will stop them going rusty, but will provide no lubrication to the brakes, and won't hurt the pads either. And is easy to wash off in the springtime?
All I can think of is olive oil, butter etc. I bet the military must have this problem all the time, there must be something. Thanks if you know.
