You mention the air pump. What is it for? Belt disconnected on mine.
Practical machinist 2006 I think lolIt blows the chips away so that you can see where you are going.
Remove your table, de-oil it with IPA spirit, and leave it in citric acid over night. Brown will be gone, may need to rub it down with a nylon brush. Then a good rinse in hot water and re-oil it to stop it happening again.
