Personally I find it very hard to give any credibility to most forecasts regarding what will happen post-exit. Given that whatever form of final exit is eventually arrived at, everyone involved, whether countries, companies or individuals, will all react in whatever way they see as most beneficial to themselves, then there are simply too many variables for accurate forecasts to be made. All the different parties involved have their own agendas to pursue, and the stream of actions and reactions will surely lead to short-term disruptions to "normal" ways of doing business, with some disruptions being beneficial and some less so. In such a scenario, it will be those who are most flexible and agile who will survive and prosper, while those who try to cling to "the way things have always been done" will struggle and potentially fail. As always, any change is frequently painful and hard to manage, and the bigger the outfit, the slower it changes.
