I'm after a general purpose cleaner for the workshop, something that will remove oil, grease and dirt etc but be safe for almost everything.
Currently I use brake cleaner for most things but it's unsuitable for a lot of stuff and really far more aggressive than I need a lot of the time.
Stuff like the lathe and mill, dirty car parts, the Inside of alloys wheels etc.
Any suggestions? I've heard traffic film remover is good (non caustic) but I've no experience of it. Something I can stick in a squirty bottle that doesn't leave a residue or leave too much water behind.
Cheers.
