Tried to drill into a drain but drills and carbide burrs are not cutting. I assume they are malleable cast iron but I was expecting normal drills to have no problem.
The ground has sunk an inch+ below, so I want a hole to allow the puddle to drain. I have cut a drainage channel with a diamond grinding wheel.
What are they made of and how can I do it? I have a die grinder, sds drill, 115mm grinder - Id need a 6 or 9" wheel to get deep enough from top of drain.
