and tell them u have no heating and a youngster in house. lay it on .otherwise you will get fobbed off
my son has had a smart meter fitted and now his storage heaters don’t work
He’s had an “electrician” round from the landlord who says it’s not connected so he’s phoned supply company who say he needs an electrician
Currently he’s going round in circles with a house with no heating and a baby
Its in the correct position its a off set terminal. The cable to the off peak cu looks to. Be two close to the normal live
Its shocking that someone can just fit a meter and walk off without connecting the heating for the house, especially when there's children there!
Strange only 5 terminals on that meter not much to get wrong. All sorted now supplier finally caved in and sent an engineer
Guy who fitted the meter wired it in wrong
Thanks for your help brightspark much appreciated

Have a look in the pdf in a previous post the 2nd live is offset between the L & N.Don’t do a Secure 5 terminal, I’d say the eco 7 wasn’t wired

Some of the new 3 phase meters i see take forever to read they have so many screens to toggle through.I stand corrected, I’ve still got my HAN codes somewhere to put them back into engineer setup mode

Had one on a site and the readings they were sending the landlord just didn't make any sense. until we realised they were sending us the date instead of the readings, why does the electricity meter need to show the date? Technology and features just for the sake of it because they can.
