Bit of a delicate job today, fill in the holes on the edge of these aluminium runners, they are part of a fire engine ladder mechanism and have a nylatron running strip held on with short roll pins, we are using a different plastic now so the holes are just not quite in the right place,
For scale that is a 3mm drill in the picture.
So a careful prep of a 2.4 tungsten, turn up the frequency to focus the arc, and a bit of electrode negative to protect the tungsten prep, and hit it at about 100 amps.
Then into the vice and hand file it back to shape. no one would ever know...
