But its OK in America.......possibly the fussiest nation on EarthThis is mainly about growth hormones, banned in the EU since 1981, and not in the opinion of many researchers something we want in the human food chain.

Not that far behind many and in front of a lot....but the other country you mentioned Australia has the 4th longest life expectancy on EarthBut far from the healthiest....
Ive had Dutch and Swiss and a Plastic Bag...to be fair Cheese must be the worst example you could possibly state....British cheese is the BEST in the world.I can only assume you have never suffered the misfortune to taste American "cheese" - a truly nasty processed concoction available in a variety of colours, all of which taste like something you would rather not have on the sole of your shoe...
I used to like the old speckled hen advert with the fox - he mentioned about the French having 400 types of cheese - keep going lads, you’ll get to cheddar eventually!Apparently France has over 400 different cheeses - some of which I enjoy; same goes for Italian, but I agree you can't go wrong with proper British cheese (and I don't include the plastic wrapped stuff in the supermarket)
I do like a bit of cheese...
P.S. apologies to OP for straying a tiny bit off topic!

Im a bit of a cheesaholic and we go to France regularly. I like some French cheeses but you cant really beat a nice bit of Cheddar....Totally off topic now.....have you had BLACKSTICKS BLUE.....they sell it in M&S......its my current favourite

never thought of that.....shall have to give it a goLocal eatery does it on a cheeseburger - an expensive cheeseburger I'll grant you but far nicer than anything that's ever come out of a fast food joint.
Its all about the relative Mechanical PropertiesHow on earth does a conversation about dodgy Chinese steel turn into one about cheese?
Oh, hang on, ok I get it...

It's the Mig welding forum, it's what we are good at, nevermind seven degrees of separation with Kevin Bacon, this forum can get from absolutely any topic to another totally unrelated one in just a single postHow on earth does a conversation about dodgy Chinese steel turn into one about cheese?
