Does this look correct? I think the cowl should be sitting further down against the wide roof tube to seal gap between heat/exhaust liner and the service pipe.
It is a Trumatic C. Looks to draw air from under the van. It is a 2005 model. Heater is working fine. I just wonder where any water goes that gets between outside service pipe and the flue liner. You can see the gap peering down and rainfall will enter it.
It might be worth contacting the manufacturer and sending them the image. They're the experts. The installation guides don't show exactly what's in the image.
I'm pretty sure that looks the same as the one on my 2005 caravan, can get a decent pic of it when next there if you want, this is just a snippet from CCTV.
Thanks guys. Laika are pretty slow at any responses on old trucks like that and dealer is darn sarf. Gaz: that looks like mine.
I think there is a sleeve or ring missing. I may tape up the part that I think missing and then try light the unit. If it makes a restriction, it wont light. If it does light, I will dig deeper to get proper answer.
Quite sure it should be this cowl top that is needed:
Two screws go through this one and go into 2 drillings in pipe, one can be seen clearly and other is 180deg round from it.
