One of the sellers mentioned that..it looks way different to me tho, the bottom bracket obviously has to be mounted properly, I haven't got the skills to do it,i would attempt to replace it with the right panel tho.My mate repaired his using the LHD one and modified it to use as a RHD to save making a new one from scratch.
Doesn't have to look the same just the same size and right holes, I suppose the strengthening bends could just be bar welded on instead , it's not on view and doesn't fit snug against anything, just the foot well. How much of it do you need?
And how fussy are you?

Scene tax on these dubs is stupid, people want daft prices for a decent sliding door. For such a common van I'd search for a good secondhand door as one isn't going to cost much more than just a repair panel.
No, don't usually bother anymore after getting high quotes for stuff or general ignorance/disinterest when I tell them what it's for..Might be a daft question but have you tried vw. Not sure it would be cheap though, I enquired about a step panel for an old LT a number years ago at the time the panel was available but included a large section of the floor
I think you could easily make that shape or close to it with a swaging machine a sheet bender and a bit of patience. I would attempt that. Failing that a bent/ dented sliding door to use for chopping the panel you require is another option. It’s not that complicated to fix properly !The bottom four five inches of the inner panel on my vans sliding door is getting rusty, the only replacement panels I can find seem to be for LHD vans.
Wondering if anyone on here is tooled up to make one?View attachment 149420
This is actually the worst bit on the van.. The chassis cills ect are excellent for the year, (95)no holes just some surface scabs that I ground out treated primed and painted earlier this year.I don't know if there is much useful information here: https://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/threads/rotten-vw-t4.56717/
I doubt it! I must have the record for the most rusty VW T4 ever to hit the road. I do recall having the same issue finding RHS door stuff. I must have found something.
