Looking for a good welder for my budget of £200-£300.
Needs to be able to weld thin material as it'll be mainly used for car repairs.
I've borrowed a Clarke 105te before with 0.8mm wire, which was ok, but a touch too powerful even on the lowest power setting at times. Which ment that I was often having to weld at a quicker pace than what am normally comfortable with.
I think having read up a bit and looks like 0.6mm wire would be a bit better for me and offer more control and a bit less amps, so would like a welder that can handle that too.
Maybe also in the future alloy and stainless welding but not right now.
Currently I have a MM vat off voucher, so any of their machines workout 20% cheaper until the 29th.
So what would you guys and girls recommend I look at closer?
