Thanks £112 with galv spokes + postageI've heard good things about these guys in the motorcycling world http://www.central-wheel.co.uk/
Now the strange thing is I spent two years repairing fully automated spoked wheel manufacturing machines, but never learnt how to hand build a wheelYou could do it yourself, I think firms like central wheels will sell you spokes and nipples, you need to tell them the exact diameter and lengths. (the lengths are often different depending on inner or outer etc). There must be lots of videos showing how to do it on-line. Some cycle shops do their own bike wheels. However classic way seems to be cut all spokes at once and start again, I suspect it will be a lot easier to do them one at a time.
His number goes to voicemail and emails bounce back? will try again tomorrowThere is a guy in Leicester called Roger Lovell who rebuilds classic motorcycle wheels, but I don't have any further details.
I think Merrymans suggestion has legs, certainly from a financial viewpoint. Plenty of info on the net including Youtube, building your wheel is no different than a bicycle wheel. Trailer wheels would be less demanding than if they were on a car. How about this for startersYou could do it yourself, I think firms like central wheels will sell you spokes and nipples, you need to tell them the exact diameter and lengths.
