Power and warranty and price your absolutely right there bill. Milwaukee blows them away but internal build quality and ability to self service the SO is substantially better as clearly shown in the vid. I’ve had both and Im sticking with Milwaukee now simply because brushless is the way forward but I was very impressed with the SO tools. Solid build things.
I've not compared the internals at all, only from a user point of view.
I do also know from having a brushed tool need repair (brushless all the way now please!) that the milwaukee warranty is easy to use. For some people the SO man turning up every week is good and that's what my man tells me when we talk about it, but going onto the mil website and putting it into a box for a courier that they organise is quite easy and sometimes quicker than the van coming round.
For those who don't have the SO man round automatically every week things like this can soon become a real pain.
