I'm having burr problems! Recently I've had three 'solid carbide' burrs fall apart on me. The shanks are apparently brazed onto the carbide before grinding (presumably to save carbide) and if the die grinder has any sort of wobbly as sometimes happens if, for instance, you are enlarging a hole, the brazed on bit flys across the workshop - usually never to see seen again, just leaving the stubby shank in the collet.
So searching for burrs that actually ARE solid has turned up noffink ! nowt! zilch!
. . . any suggestions - looking for either 6 mm or 1/4" shanks with 6 mm cylindrical heads
