110 crossmember used and Hi Cap tow bar to set the length of the vehicle.
This is the part that worries me with the chassis,
I need to repair the dented section on the rear,
But any chassis modification requires a test, so i have to recreate it exacly as stock.
(I already chopped the rear body mounts too)
Yours is exactly what im after though
Chop good rear section out of a scrap chassis and extend wheelbase at same time. As long as done properly BIVA test won't be a problem.
If i had some money to spend, and wanted to chop about a disco, i think id go for the sahara kit -
Ive never been keen on either mullet haircuts, or bob-tail discos - i dont know, somehow the two fall into the same lack of style to me!
Thats horrendous Must have the same turning circle as the QE2, I extended a 110 chassis about 18" to mount a cherry picker and thats bad enough .
