I've been welding for a long time, mainly car restoration but sometimes making larger jigs and chassis work. I've had a Sealey 150 Mighty Mig since new and it's served me very well, but looking to up my game in every respect so would like to expand into heavier chassis work, aluminium, stainless, as well as occasional brazing etc but still retaining bodywork capabilities.
After reading many threads on here, the GYS multipearl 200/4 seems like a contender and in budget, but is there an AC, HF tig machine I should be considering for similair money? I don't mind switching the Mig set up to work on Ali but would prefer to try out Tig for that. I don't need Stick welding capabilities at all so do all the combined machines come with this anyway?
Is there anything else I need to consider? This will be quite a step up for me!
My local dealer stocks Thermal Arc but they are shut till next week anyway.
Thanks
