Same here nothing but praise for FFX, I have spent a lot of money with them over the years and when the van was broken into I had no hesitation in replacing about a grands worth of kit with them.
you are rightIt doesn't cost £7 to post one of those. Ten of them maybe.
Please forgive the snobbery from my behalf but I wouldn't have a £9 set of drill bits thrown at me. More hassle than they are worth. I've bought cheap sets in the past and they just don't keep an edge on steel for long at all. You waste more time sharpening them than using them. £40 gets you a nice hss set of prestos and yes they are 4 x better than the £10 cheapys. Once you've racked a few of the common sizes the set is pretty much useless anyway. False economy. If your gonna spend 40-50 quid on drills, buy one half decent set is my opinion.
That's beaten me. No idea why they would say that. If they can't drill alu then they really are rubbisht says on the description do not use on aluminium.
