This is just a quick one to show I quickly figure the correct angle to cut a tube at, its great for one offs or in tight spaces, if I was doing it a lot, I would probably get some proper tools and a jig or chop saw. I don't need to do it a lot so this is how I get by.
Small bolt through two hacksaw blades, hold one in line with the pipe, and point the other where the pipe needs to go
lay the blades on bench and fold a piece of paper, so it matches the profile of the blades, just turn the edges in and press flat, no need to go making an origami protractor or swans or anything
fold said sheet of paper so the two edges that where against the blades are level with each other (fold in half along the centre line of the angle) . Don't worry if its not exactly half, if like me you didn't start in the centre of the paper then one side will be longer than the other, what's important is that the top edges line up pretty good.
Now you have intersected the angle you can use it to mark up the tube, using the folded edge and the top where you just folded both edges together. I usually get away with holding it next to the tube and marking along the fold to give me a rough guide.
Cut through the line, smaller tube is easy as grinder will go through in one go, I got 3/4 of the way then had to turn it and go from the other side
once its cut rotate one piece 180 degrees to make the bend
and weld it up
Quick grind back
splash of spray paint just to hold the rust off for time being, and its finished and installed
Will more than likely connect a silicone hose on the bottom of it
