hya lad i worked for a air con firm for a while to braze the pipes they usually used a oxygen propane mix and Rothenberger Rolot S2 Copper is what we used as our brazing rods. u can use a plumbers blow lamp for quarter pipe work but it is easier to just use the oxey propane mix. my advice to you is buy two cutters for holding armaflex lagging back when brazing and have a wet rag. and if you have sculls look after them as they are quite difficult to come accross. hope this helps.
also whilst i think about it dont know the hole truth about it as i was allowed to do it but I was told by an engineer that you cant work on any refrigeration pipe work unless you are f gas trained
they saw I have welding and fabrication experience and they need someone in quick in their copper departmentGood for you on getting a start. How did you manage this if you have never brazed before, company training you up?
