What is the best way to pin wooden t&g panels to a steel gate frame without seeing the bolt heads through the wood.
On my last project. I put a trim of flat bar around the edges of the timber and pinned the wood to the metal that way.
However, I could not put this trim on before the frame was galvanized and had a nightmare welding it on once the wood panels had gone in. Galvanize was splattering all over the wood - for this reason I decided not to use this method again.
Is there any other options? My customer does not want to see bolt heads
