Hi,
I've just repaired an old MIG - fault on PCB. Everything now appears to work, but I have a question regarding wire speed? The previous owner had been messing with the two trim-pots on the PCB and had them both turned to minimum. Both these pots effect wire speed - I suspect one is speed and the other is current limiting. It's a max 240A welder and I'm wondering what I should set my maximum wire speed (dial set to 10)? Any suggestions? Is there a rule of thumb?
