@slim_boy_fat yes those look good, are they bulky around the fingers, is it easy pick stuff up?
bought a pair for 20 euos post on ebay.
An old fisherman / farmer trick is plunge your hands into cold water as soon as you go out. This will open up the capillaries in your skin and once you get past the shock and pain, you're good to go for hours.slightly off topic
anyone else noticed that when you're working outside (or in my case an unheated garage), by the time your hands get used to the cold and start to feel warm its time to stop working and go back into my house.
I've been using these for the past few winters. At first sight they don't look thin enough, but there's a surprising amount of feel through the fingertips. I've not used them for heavy stuff, but so far they've stood up well. My local farmers' co-op stocks them for a fiver.I'm looking for thin, warm gloves for working outside, its freezing!
