Well the time has come to part with some of my hard earned spondoolies and would like a little unbiased advice from you pro's out there as to some thoughts on a small list of possible mig welders I have drawn up.
The main usage would be for car panel work 0.8-0.9mm, and I don't think I would be ever welding anything thicker than say 8mm.
This list is of small machines that has the advantage of portability and reverse polarity, though I can't seem to find any information in the UK browsing the web for information on pricing etc for the millers? I know there are other good machines such as Lorch but I didn't really want to spend much more than approximately £650
Kempii 180C
Millermatic 211
Millermatic passport-plus
Lincoln 180C
For the heavyweight! well it has to be either the Portamig 215 or 235. Only downside if I am being finicky is "weight" and delivery times of four weeks plus?
