Being fair I would not even bother trying to break a poor looking weld.. Not only are most tougher than they look, could chop through the frame in a flashIt’s just an observation
There ain’t much weld around that barrel
It might be strong but it doesn’t look it which is the point when trying to persuade people not to bother. If something looks weak they will have a go at it. It might not be weak but if they start having a go at it the chances are they will finish. If something looks like a chore to get through it will likely get left alone.
If I was to see that clamp and I wanted to nick your motor I doubt I’d have much trouble getting that barrel off. It’s a nice job I’d just make that joint look more substantial.
Na! Not with mag welds Kent. They are usually a lot weaker than they look. Hell I’ve seen ones look great and easily break because of fusion issues.Being fair I would not even bother trying to break a poor looking weld.. Even the best clamps ain't that hard to do in if your a thief or villan though
how ineffective commercial security devices are.
I could except that challenge up until finding out it was that horrid stuff.Na! Not with mag welds Kent. They are usually a lot weaker than they look. Hell I’ve seen ones look great and easily break because of fusion issues.
No chance.
I’d have that barrel knocked off long before you could cut the box. That’s some hefty steel and you’d be reduced to cordless tools.

Hi, That's why I think good home made devices are better because with the commercially made stuff they know what they are dealing with and how to get round it.

A medium sized lump hammerIf you got it off with a sledge hammer in a single hit not denying that but I reckon it would be under 30s for my M18 grinder with a slitting disc to go through that. Yesterday went through an inch round hardened shaft in well under a minute with it.
