You say adjustable spanner you think bacho.
For me it was exactly the same about a pair of mole grips. No question about it best ones around were the original vice grips. I had 2 pairs for over 16 years and im devastated really because although one pair (my go to pair) was about done for really and worn out.
The other pair I lost only a few weeks ago on site.
Time for new.........
original vice grips 3 in a pouch, £40, Cromwell tools. Yep that's a bargain for nearly 20 years of sheer abuse. Orrrrrrrr maybe not.
They are rubbish. You pick em up and it's like picking up the caretakers bunch of keys, all floppy and rattley and jingley.
The return spring is half the diameter of the originals spring so that's gonna last , the thing that peeeeeeeee's me off the most. Not 1. Not 2. But on all 3 pairs the jaws don't line up at all when you close them up. Not even somewhere near.
It wasn't that long ago you couldn't get better than an original vice grip. I've not even used these but I can see straight away other than the pressed logo into its back..... it's nothing like a 'real' vice grip. Very sad day to know they've ruined yet another awesome tool.
