Hi all, i have been reading up on stick welding, i have done it in the past with a cheap welder, i think they are called a buzz box by some folk.
Now am i correct in saying that for 6mm plate on an overlap joint i will need to just set my inverter welder to no more than 22V for horizontal, and a little less for vertical? and using 3.2mm rods.
I am about to have a practice as soon as i get some rods sorted out, my winter project is to practice stick welding
