Im a qualified mechanic and did some welding and fabrication qualifications and also have an hnc in stained glass design and restoration (both former occupations) I've been a class 1 hgv driver for 8 years as well as an occasional carer for better half in her bad health periods.
Oh and have served time as a foster carer for challenging young people
Elec Tech in a plastics factory making food quality bags and film. 24/7 facility so working 5 Shift pattern 12 hours, only 145 days a year. Previously 10 years offshore as authorised person /elec tech 4 of which hazardous area inspection, maintenance and HV switching.
I run my own business and employ guys so that makes me a social worker, money lender, psychiatrist,doctor,marriage counselor,strategist ,mechanic, surveyor , accountant, chainsawist, machinedriverist , truck driver, dogsbody , fool, plate spinner and disliked .
Self employed AV systems programmer / specifier / installer, previously I was a AV project manager / programmer. Before that I was in selling film and chemistry to London and South East photographers, labs and hospitals and newspapers, fortunately I got out just before digital became a viable option.
Good question, as a small business owner my job is to do whatever is required.
Yeah, some of it I am even qualified and or good at - some I am not! Still needs doing and if you do something enough with your brain engaged then you can over time become quite good at it.
Welder/ fabricator by trade but do a lot of plant fitting .
I like to keep a variety of work as I get bored/Fed up easily and as they say "a change is as good as a rest"!
Now retired, but was Principal Scientist at a small multinational group supplying test instrumentation to the pulp, paper, printing and packaging industries. Job now is to enjoy myself learning how to make things.

Occupational hygienist, I get excited by looking at what people are exposed to at work, how the exposure can damage your health and what control measures are required in mitigation. After a highly vocational qualification from uni I spent 25 years at the same consultancy firm, I travelled the world and worked up to a technical Director. I got fed up of constantly staying away so I now work for the government as a Specialist Inspector of Health and Safety. Mostly involved in complex investigations and prosecutions
