This is one of the gudgeon pins from my compressor. It has enough damage that it's gorged up the con rod eye and the piston. There's no bearing in the small end it's just the aluminium con rod and piston against the steel gudgeon pin. You cant really see the damage in the photo but there are nicks in it causing the alu parts to get torn up.

What would you do in this situation? Clarke spares are a bit out of whack on price, so new parts might not be worthwhile against the cost of a new pump. I was thinking of just replacing the gudgeon pin and leaving the damaged alu piston and con rod. And run it like that until it burns out, what do you think?
Also trying to figure out what port "B" is in the photo below. Port A is the crankcase breather. Port B, when I look down it, I just see the the shaft that the pulley wheel is on.
